Changes to Local Link service is leaving users stranded

A Sligo Leitrim TD is calling on the Local Link service to resolve issues that are leaving users of the service stranded.

Sinn Fein TD Martin Kenny say the current service is not meeting the criteria for the demands responsive model which was behind the service being established in the first place.

Deputy Kenny says the changes have left many users annoyed and upset with changes to routes  and service being operated by Local Link in Sligo Leitrim and Donegal.

The Sligo Leitrim TD says many have been loyal customers and the elderly and those that live alone, those with disabilities and mobility issues often have no other access to transport.
