Calls have been made on Leitrim County Council to provide a footpath on Church Lane in Manorhamilton.
The Calls were made by local election candidate Fine Gael's Frank Dolan at this week's meeting of Manorhamilton Municipal District.
Councillor Dolan was making the calls after two accidents have occurred on the road in recent times.

Speaking to Ocean FM news, Frank Dolan outlined how he has requested the footpath to be installed from the Junction on the N16 to Masterson's National School in the interest of pedestrian safety after the road in question was changed to a one way system.
