Claudia Kennedy has been added to the Fianna Fáil ticket to contest the General Election in south west Donegal.
The Donegal schoolteacher's addition was announced last night.
She will now join current Minister for Agriculture, Charlie McConalogue, and former TD and MEP, Pat the Cope Gallagher, in contesting a seat.
Kennedy previously ran in the local elections in June, and was eliminated on the third count.
Elsewhere in Donegal, the Irish Freedom Party have confirmed that they will be putting Eamon McGee forward to contest the General Election.
Mr McGee, who is currently living in Convoy, also contested June's local elections in the Buncrana Municipal District.
While Kim McMenamin will go forward for the National Alliance Party.
