An post have made the decision to close Cliffoney Post Office.
The centre is to close on Friday the 17th of September with customers being transferred to Grange Post Office.
In a statement released to OceanFM this afternoon, management say they advertised the position a number of times to no avail with the aim of retaining the service.
A notice informing customers of the closure and giving details of the alternative available will be posted tomorrow.
