The recent funding provided for active travel and climate change adaption is expected to benefit a number of areas in Sligo in the coming months.
One such project that has been earmarked for repair work to be carried out is the Luke's Bridge area of Sligo.

Serious damage was caused to roads in the Benbulben area in June and Sligo Drumcliff Independent Councillor Marie Casserly is hopeful that the 120,000 euro allocation will help to ease the situation for those most effected.
