A young woman is recovering in hospital from serious injuries after having been rescued following a fall on Benbulben mountain at the weekend.
A number of services were involved in rescuing the woman who had been climbing on the north side of the mountain in north Sligo.
They included the Coast Guard helicopter from Strandhill, Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue and the ambulance service.
The incident occurred about 7pm on Saturday evening.
Alan Sayers, of Sligo Leitrim Mountain Rescue, has been telling Ocean FM News what happened:
