Cllrs meet to discuss Budget 2024 for County Sligo

Sligo County Councillors are currently in session discussing the Budget for the County for the upcoming year.

€76.5 million is the total projected expenditure for 2024 - it's an increase of €2.8m on last year.

The funding will be spent on the likes of housing, roads and major tourism projects in County Sligo.

Roads in Sligo are set to get the biggest share in money at just over 24m.

Cllrs are expected to pass the Budget later this afternoon.
