Closure of Births, Deaths & Marriages office in Carrick causes 'inconvenience'

A Leitrim Councillor says the temporary closure of the Births, Deaths and Marriages office in Carrick-on-Shannon will cause inconvenience to those that used the over the counter services.

The facility situated on the Leitrim Road closed on May the 20th

Leitrim County Council have provide assurances to Drumshanbo based Councillor Brendan Barry that the closure is temporary and will be restored once a member of staff is in a position to take up the role.
