The Chief Medical Officer is "increasingly concerned" at the trends surrounding Covid-19.
Dr Tony Holohan has said the five-day average of daily cases has increased from 350 last week - to 424 today, and has urged people to follow the health advice.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre have confirmed that there have been 11 additional Covid-19 related deaths all of which occurred in November.
366 new cases were also reported in the latest set of figures. 34 of the cases occurred in Donegal, there were less than 5 in Sligo and none in Leitrim.
The government is likely to make a decision on how to exit level 5 restrictions towards the end of next week.
