Coillte under fire over delays to fixing power outages in North Leitrim

It's emerged that the ESB can sometimes find it difficult to fix power outages in parts of North Leitrim due to fallen trees preventing access to where the fault is.

It's been further claimed that the issue has led to some homes being without power for a number of days.

Coillte is now facing calls to work more proactively to ensure that the matter is resolved.
