Workers today have remembered their colleague who died after being attacked in Sligo a year ago.
A tree planting ceremony took place outside McDonald's in Carraroe this morning to remember Jimmy Loughlin.
Staff, family and friends gathered outside Mr Loughlin's former workplace today to plant a Cherry Blossom tree in his memory.
The 20-year-old who is originally from Killross which is half way between Ballygalway and Ballintogher in Co. Sligo died after being attacked at his home on Connolly St one year ago.
A 31-year-old man was arrested close to the scene at the time and charged with his murder.
Jimmy's mother Paula Loughlin says his former colleagues have been a huge support to the family and thanked everyone for what they have done for them.

Staff Manager at McDonald's, David Willis, was a good friend of Jimmy's.
He says there isn't a day that goes by that they don't think about him and they wanted to remember him with this tree and a memorial plaque.

Balloons were released in Jimmy's memory today by his parents and sister and David Wills also read out a poem as the tree was being planted.
