The N4 Collooney to Castlebaldwin road project is expected to open to traffic in September.
The majority of earthworks and drainage, utility diversions, pavements and realigned local roads are almost complete.

The project consists of four over bridges, six under bridges, and two river bridges.
Constructions will continue into the third quarter of this year.

Local Fine Gael Councillor, Thomas Walsh, says it's one of the biggest infrastructure projects ever undertaken in the county.
