Commemorate events planned to make centenary of Irish military control of Finner Camp

The Irish Defence Forces, will commemorate the centenary of the handover of Finner Camp, from British to Irish military forces today.

A series of events are taking place between Finner Camp and the neighboring town of Bundoran.

Captain Neil Ledwith spoke to Ocean FM news about what exactly is in store for this special day.

As part of the ceremonial event, the raising of the National Flag and the laying of the wreath to

commemorate all those from the North West of Ireland who died in military service to the State.
