ComReg has issued a warning to the public, after a spate of scam calls from interational numbers.
The calls appear to be coming from Chad and Liberia.
The regulator's warning that if you phone back you may be end up being charged for a premium rate call.
It's also advising customers never to give out bank details or personal information over the phone.
