Concern grows over the future of Sligo Store

Concerns have been raised in relation to 9 full time jobs in the Sligo branch of Halfords.

The store which is situated at the Sligo Retail Park in Carraroe has been closed since Covid-19 restrictions were introduced and has not re-opened despite the easing of the restrictions.

Sligo Drumcliff Councillor Thomas Healy is calling on the store owners and management of Halfords to provide clarity on their future plans for Sligo to both staff and customers.
