Concern over some motorists not obeying speed limit in Bunninadden

Serious concern has been raised over some motorists not obeying the speed limit in Bunninadden.

The village is located on a busy route, linking Ballymote to Tubbercurry and is also home to a number of amenities.

While there are some safety measures in place, it's thought that a speed ramp should be installed on the main thoroughfare in a bid to slow traffic down.

The matter is to be raised with Transport Infrastructure Ireland and local Gardai are also to be informed of the issue.

However, local Cllr Dara Mulvey says he and the community feel that a ramp is the only viable solution at this point:
