There are concerns over delays to diabetic services to Sligo University Hospital.
It's understood there are staff shortages in the diabetic dietetic services department due to a number of leave of absences.
Due to the lack of staff it's believed certain patients who would benefit from Insulin Pump Therapy are not getting the access needed.
Local election candidate and Fianna Fail Cllr Keith Henry says he has contacted the HSE regarding the issue.
