Concerns raised over HAP scheme

There are calls for all renters who lose their job during the coronavirus crisis to be given access to the HAP scheme.

The Housing Assistance Payment is paid through local authorities.

Concerns have been raised locally that it currently takes weeks to apply for the scheme.
