Confidence increasing of a Brexit Deal being secured

There is now a real possibility of a Brixt deal following "significant movement" from the UK side in yesterday's talks between Loe Varadkar and Boris Johnson.

The UK's Brexit Secretary Stephen Barclay is holding a meetings with the EU's top negotiator, Michel Barnier, in Brussels today.

Talks between the Taoiseach and the British PM ended on a positive note yesterday.

They agreed they can "see a pathway" to a possible deal.

Fine Gael party activists and local election candidate Blaine Gaffney says the chances of a deal are now a lot more likely, than they were before yesterday's meeting.
