Connecting through heritage event taking place in Manorhamilton

The community of Manorhamilton and further afield are being encouraged to attend a heritage event later this evening.

It's getting underway in the Glens Centre at 8pm until 10pm and will feature a talk from local historian Dr. Francis Kelly on MacClancy's Castle and the story of the Mummer Join and the current effort to rejuvenate the mumming traditions across the county.

Heritage Officer with Leitrim County Council Sarah Malone says they are also keen to hear local peoples stories on the night:
