It's Construction Safety Week.
And events are taking place in Sligo from this evening until Friday next, all in the Sligo Park Hotel.
Tomorrow, the focus will be on safety and electricity, Wednesday will deal with working at heights, Thursday will concentrate on vehicle risk and safety in lifting operations, and Friday will cover working with hazardous substances.
This evening at 5:30pm, there will be a talk on Mental Health and Wellbeing in the construction industry, in which there are high suicide rates.
