Controversial Sligo apartments listed for short-term lets

It's emerged that purpose-built apartments which formerly hosted ATU students in Sligo have been listed for short-term lets.

The apartments were listed for short term letting in the past - but only for outside the academic year.

Milligan Court, located on Connaughton Road previously housed over two hundred students from September to May during the academic year.

However, last year it was announced that the building would be used for other uses such as housing refugees.

This then was quashed after the owners confirmed it would be offered to the private rental market.

The apartments are now being advertised on holiday rental websites.
