Around 200 people turned out at a cost of living protest outside Sligo's Town Hall at lunchtime on Saturday afternoon.
The protest was one of several organised nationwide by the Cost of Living Coalition, which includes Sinn Féin, People Before Profit, Independent politicians and community representatives.
The protest heard numerous calls for the Government to take drastic action in next week's budget to assist all those affected by rising living costs.
