In light of possible flooding, Donegal County Council have advised that the Donegal Town Pier car park will be closed for designated periods over the weekend.
Met Éireann has issued a status orange wind warning for the county from 10am on Sunday.
Based on a high tide at around 7:50pm this evening, the car park will be closed from 6pm until 9:30pm.
While on Sunday, the first high tide is at 8:11am which means the car park will be closed from 6.30am until 9.30am.

The second high tide will be at 8:39pm, which means the car park will be closed from 7pm to 10pm.
