A Sligo councillor says the message needs to go out that anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in housing estates throughout the county.
Sinn Fein's Chris McManus says the problem is 'quite serious' and ranges from the low-level to the serious.
He is calling on the council to seek court exclusion orders where necessary banning those causing problems from a house or an estate.
He made his comments this week during a council meeting discussion on a draft Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy.
In the past few years, the council has sought just three three exclusion orders, two of which were granted.
Cllr MacManus says it's an issue that affects all housing estates, public and private:
