A Donegal councillor claims he and his family were subjected to abuse by Fine Gael before he quit.
Frank McBrearty resigned from the party earlier this week, only a week after he was elected.
The Raphoe-based councillor claims he was treated appallingly by some Fine Gael members in Donegal since he joined in April.
Councillor McBrearty says that continued even after he was elected.
