Flooding is expected in many areas throughout the north west in the next 24 hours because of heavy rainfall.
It follows two storms, Ciara and Denis, which have already left the ground saturated.
A status yellow rainfall warning is in place for a number of counties, including Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
The warning is valid until 4am tomorrow morning.
Local authorities in the region find themselves preparing for what is a third major weather event in as many weeks.
Donegal County Council says localised flooding is likely to occur because of the saturated ground and the high river levels from recent rainfall.
It's urging home and property owners to remain vigilant and to check drains and gullies for blockages.
Garry Martin, Donegal County Council's director of Emergency Services, says the south of the county seems likely to get the brunt of the rainfall.

Sligo County Council is also making preparations.
The council's director of services with responsibility for infrastructure is Tom Kilfeather.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, he put the amount of recent rainfall into perspective.
