Letterkenny University Hospital has the most people being treated for Covid-19 in the country.
91 people are receiving treatment for the virus in the hospital today; six more than the Mater Hospital which has the second most patients nationally.
A further 48 Covid-19 patients are also in Sligo University Hospital.
While Professor of Immunology at DCU, Christine Loscher, says people need to 'reboot' their protective measures against Covid-19 as hospital cases rise.
There are currently 1,127 people being treated for Covid-19 in Irish hospitals which is the highest figure since February last year
Professor Loscher says the rise in ICU cases creates concern for other hospital services.
