As the fight against Covid-19 continues the Bishop of Elphin Kevin Doran has confirmed that the public celebration of Mass with the exception of Funeral Mass and the Celebration of Marriage is suspended until and including Sunday 29th March, with immediate effect.

The obligation to be physically present at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days (including St. Patrick’s Day) is also suspended for everybody until further notice

 

Baptisms will continue however the congregation must be less than 100 people

Funerals will be restricted to family and close friends so that no more than 100 people are present.

 

The celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation is suspended for the time being.

All First Penance celebrations will be suspended until after Easter.

The Sacrament of Marriage may be celebrated as long as the Congregation should be no more than 100 people
