Crisis with pay, wages and conditions within the Defence Forces - Deputy Thomas Pringle

A Donegal TD says there is a crisis with pay, wages and conditions within the Defence Forces.

Yesterday evening the Dail debated a Fianna Fáil motion to restore military allowances to pre-crash levels.

Speaking during the motion Independent Deputy Thomas Pringle says there is a problem because the Army or Naval Service are not maintaining sufficient numbers.

Deputy Pringle says the issue needs to be addressed across the board.
