Taoiseach Micheál Martin, European Affairs Minister Thomas Byrne and other EU leaders will begin a two-day European Council summit in Brussels today - with Brexit top of the agenda.
Boris Johnson set today as the deadline for a trade agreement, while the EU's deadline is the end of this month.
