Dail hears further calls for cuts to electricity prices

Two Donegal TDs have further called on the Government to cut electricity prices to 2021 levels.

The issue was raised in the Dail last evening by Sinn Fein Deputies Pearse Doherty and Padraig MacLochlainn.

In response Minister Eamon Ryan acknowledged the pressure that families are under.

The Government is due to bring in a suite of cost of living measures as part of the upcoming Budget.

But both Deputies says the response so far has been inadequate:
