Dail hears further calls for restoration of Cath Lab services in Sligo

Further call have been made in the Dáil for the immediate restoration of Cath Lab services at Sligo University Hospital.

Sligo Leitrim TD Marian Harkin raised the issue with Minister for housing Darragh O'Brien in the last few minutes who reiterated how the private provider of the services throughout the Country is no longer in a position to do so.

Minster O'Brien says that all options continue to be explored and said he will raise the matter with the Health Minister.

He also acknowledged that it is a very serious issue for Sligo and the wider north west:
