The latest 14 day incidence rate of Covid-19 for the local electoral areas in this region has confirmed that there were 114 additional cases of the virus between November 3rd and November 16th.

 

The Donegal local electoral area recorded the highest number of cases in 38, with the rate per 100,000 head of population standing at 143.4

The figures in the Manorhamilton area are also alarming.  The rate here stands at 120.1 after 13 cases were confirmed.

In Sligo there were 28 cases in the Sligo/Strandhill local electoral area, a rate of 132.5, 11 in Sligo/Drumcliff which resulted in a rate of 62.2 the lowest rate per 100,000 head of population in all 5 local electoral areas.  While 24 additional cases were confirmed in the Ballymote/Tubbercurry area this resulted in a rate of 89.8.
