Date set for convention to decide who will fill Sean McEniff's seat

The date has been set for the Fianna Fail convention in Donegal to fill the seat of the late Sean McEniff.

Four candidates will contest the seat left vacant following the death of the long-serving Fianna Fail Councillor from Bundoran who passed away in April.

They include Sean McEniff's daughter Elizabeth McIntyre, former Ballyshannon Town Councillor Billy Grimes, Roger Meehan from Dunkineely and Michael Naughton of Laghey.

The convention will take place at the Millpark Hotel in Donegal town on Sunday 16th July from 6pm.
