The death has occurred of former longtime Sligo County Councillor, Paul Conmy.
The Fine Gael Councillor was first elected in 1979 in the Dromore area.
Paul held his council seat until the 2009 election, winning over 11% of the vote.
He was voted vice chairman of Sligo County Council in 2000.
