The death has occurred in Sligo of Maura Brennan, mother of the well-known brothers Francis and John from their long-running RTÉ programme At Your Service.
They also run the five-star Park Hotel in Kenmare, Co Kerry.
She was also mother of well-known Sligo businessman, tourism promoter and Yeats enthusiast Damien Brennan.
Mrs Brennan, who was in her 97th year, passed away in the North West Hospice, Sligo.

She was predeceased by her husband Tom.
