Debris blocking a number of roads across the region
A number of roads and areas across the region are blocked due to debris caused by Storm Ashley.
A tree is currently down on the Boyle to Knockvicar road, while the L61211 in Leitrim between Manorhamilton and Rossinver is also blocked by a fallen tree.
A bush has fallen onto the Sligo road to Manorhamilton, blocking off the turn just before Glencar.
A tree is also down on the Clara junction at Monasteraden, while a street light pole is down at Rosses Point National School. The area in Rosses Point will be cordoned off, with the pole set to be fixed tomorrow. A number of homes in the area are expected to be without power.
The R290 Collooney to Ballygawley road has now reopened and is fully cleared.
Trees are down on the Rathbraughan Line in Sligo and on the Collooney to Coolaney road. There are also low-hanging wires on the the Collooney to Coolaney road.
An ESB pole is down, blocking Island Road, Monasteraden, near Clooncunny Bridge.
A number of trees are now down in Leitrim. Two trees are down in seperate areas of the R284 from Geevagh to Carrick-on-Shannon, with trees down near Leitrim Village, Drumboylan and Keadue.
A tree is also down on the road from Mohill to Carrick-on-Shannon.
A tree is down on the N59 Ballina to Sligo road at Skreen, on the Sligo side of the Aurivo store.
A tree is down on the Ballymote to Castlebaldwin Road, approximately 3km from Ballymote.
A tree is down on the R287 Sligo to Dromahair road at Slishwood.
In Donegal, a tree is down, blocking the road at Magumna in Ardara.
Work is underway to clear all affected roads of debris.
