Decision on Ballygawley post office expected within weeks

It's expected that a decision on the future of the post office in Ballygawley, Co Sligo, will be made within the next few weeks.

Following a two-week long local campaign, two and a half thousand signatures in support of retaining the post office will be handed into An Post in the coming days.

An Post is reviewing the future of the post office following the recent death of the postmaster.
