The damaging of a defibrillator in Ballymote is been strongly condemned by a local Councillor.
Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage after a defibrillator was damaged in the town.
The device located at Community Library and was damaged on Halloween night, the 31st of October.

No arrests have been made at this time and investigations are ongoing.
Local Fine Gael Councillor, Dara Mulvey says defibrillators are lifesaving equipment that should never be tampered with.
