A new dementia support group is to be set up in Sligo town to support families and friends.
The HSE is to establish a Carers support group in order to help those who care for family of friends who suffer from dementia.
Majella McDonald is a Clinic Nurse Specialist in Dementia for Sligo and Leitrim and explains why a group like this is vital to the town:
