Disappointment over no plans to create local area plan for Rossnowlagh

There are no current plans to create a local area plan for Rossnowlagh.

Despite it being a major tourist destination, there's not a single street light installed in the area with ongoing calls for lighting and other infrastructure to be installed there.

Cllr Michael Naughton says that there are many people looking to invest in Rossnowlagh but the lack of an area plan will make that prospect less attractive.

He believes that there's huge potential in the village and he has expressed disappointment that there's nothing in the pipeline to make some improvements:
