Donegal Mountain Rescue has issued a warning over the sale of false merchandise on social media.
The team has been made aware of a number of spam posts in recent days which are advertising items for sale which appear to be from the organisation itself.

In a statement, the organisation says that this is a scam and that the posts do not support local rescue efforts.
People are being urged not to purchase from the seller and to report any unofficial sites.
