Dogs rescued in Sligo being looked after by local group

The two dogs who were rescued in Sligo Town this week are now being looked after by a local rescue group.

The pair were taken by Gardai to Inishfree Veterinary Hospital on Monday night.

Both were found at the Oaks, Woodtown Lodge area of the town with serious injuries.

In a statement on social media, Inishfree Veterinary Hospital say that both dogs have received the treatment that they needed and are now with a rescue group until they find their forever home.

An investigation is ongoing with Gardai asking anyone with information to contact them at Sligo Garda Station.
