It's been claimed that people working from home in Ballyshannon are losing a day's work over frequent power outages in the area.
Frustration in the community is said to be growing over the issue with businesses impacted and some equipment damaged as a result.

Meanwhile it's being claimed that energy providers should have a moral obligation to pass on the fall in wholesale electricity prices to hard pressed consumers.

New figures revealed wholesale electricity prices fell by 41% in the last three months of 2022.
Prices are now cheaper than they were before Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
