Donegal County Council is appealing to people to be the reason someone gets home safely during the Christmas period.
Motorists are being urged to stay focused, slow down, always wear your seatbelt, never drink or drug drive and to never use a mobile phone while driving.
The Council is also asking pedestrians to be safe and be seen.
