Donegal County Council will receive €7.6m of PEACEPLUS funding, the Special EU Programmes Body has announced.
The funding will support projects that address local challenges and promotes peace and prosperity across the council area.

All border counties are entitled to the funding, with Leitrim having received their allotment in May.
Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD said, “This will further support local community regeneration while fostering peace and reconciliation within each local authority area by providing this crucial funding and giving local authorities and their communities the authority to select, develop, and carry out cross-community priority projects and activities."
