A Donegal diving event has been cancelled following the death of a man on Saturday.
Organised by the Donegal Bay Sub Aqua Club, more 100 divers had been taking part in the North West Dive Rally at Teelin Pier.
However, following the death of one diver in his 40s during the event and the hospitalisation of another in his 60s, the decision has been made to cancel the two-day event.
The local coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination will be carried out on the body of the deceased.

While the man in his 60s is continuing to receive treatment for serious injuries at University Hospital Galway.
Gardaí, emergency services, the Killybegs Coast Guard and a Rescue 118 all took part in a search.
