A foodbank in Donegal is appealing for assistance from the public due to an increase in demand for the service.
Up to a 1,000 people from both north and south of the county are using the services of the foodbank, which is located in Letterkenny, every month.
Demand for the service has grown in recent times with more families needing assistance than ever before.
Foodbank volunteer, Billy Banda says people are depending on the supplies they receive to keep their families fed.
