Gardaí in Donegal have issued a warning that they will be out in force this Bank Holiday weekend.
In a statement, they say that extra checkpoints and high visibility patrols across the county.
They are appealing to motorists to drive safely and to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in a safe and responsible manner.
Gardai are urging all road users to not driver under the influence, to not speed, and always wear their seat belts and to not use their mobile phone while driving.
